I am married and have one daughter living at home.  I raised 4 kids that I adopted and they are all grown.  We live on a small homestead where we raise sheep, have 4 dogs, a horse and chickens.  We love it!

I have been a classroom teacher for 30 years  and have recently retired.  I was lead teacher in my  elementary school for 10 years and was chosen for Who's Who Among America'sTeachers four times.  This is an award that is given to teachers by former students who have scored exceptionally well in high school graduation exams.  These students are then given the opportunity to select their most memorable teacher from all of their educational years.  Thus, it is a priviledge to have been chosen four times.  I love  working with sturggling students and helping them conquer their academic sturggles.
